Traffic Advisory, One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 49 (SR-49) and State Route 140 (SR-140) for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Greeley Hill to Penon Blanco Road for tree work beginning Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m..
State Route 140
- One-way traffic control from Slate Gulch to Foresta Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, June 2, through Friday, June 6, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
