One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control and shoulder closures next week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- Conventional lane / right shoulder closure at Shilling Road for survey work beginning Monday, March 3, through Friday, March 7, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
