One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct one-way traffic control next week on State Routes 4, 12, and 26 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 4
- Long-term, one-way traffic control takes place from Appaloosa Road to Stallion Way for pavement work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Mitchler Avenue to Big Trees Road/Tom Bell Road for highway construction work beginning Tuesday, December 9, 2025, through Friday, December 12, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Country Club Drive to Oak Circle Drive for tree work on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 12
- One-way traffic control takes place half a mile east of Brauns Way for tree work on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
State Route 26
- Long-term, one-way traffic control from Gill Haven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Rich Gulch Lane to Lower Dorray Road for utility work beginning Monday, December 8, 2025, through Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
