One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 4 (SR-4), SR-26 and SR-49 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 4

  • One-way traffic control from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work beginning Monday, August 4, 2025, through Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Friday, August 8, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Strawberry HI Road to Forest Meadows Drive for drainage work beginning Monday, August 4, 2025, through Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 26

  • Long-term, one-way traffic control from Gill Haven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
  • One-way traffic control from Lafayette Street to Prindle Road for tree work on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Montgomery Drive to Gill Haven Drive for highway construction work beginning Monday, August 4, 2025, through Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Lower Dorray Road to Ridge Road for tree work on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at South Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for highway construction work on Thursday, August 8, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control from Church Street/Pine Street to Copello Drive for k-rail installation beginning Sunday, August 3, 2025, though Friday, August 8, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from SR-12 to Avenue B for tree work beginning Monday, August 4, 2025, through Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
