One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week
Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 4 (SR-4) and SR-26 in Calaveras County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 4
- One-way traffic control from Avery to Rancho Paradiso for pavement work beginning Monday, July 13, through Thursday, July 16, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from SR-49 West to Depot Road for striping operations beginning Thursday, July 16, through Friday, July 17, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
State Route 26
- One-way traffic control from Mongomery Drive to Gill Haven Drive for tree work on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
