One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 12 (SR-12) and 26 in Calaveras County next week.
State Route 12
- One-way traffic control takes place at North Fork Calaveras River for tree work beginning Tuesday, May 12, 2026, through Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
State Route 26
- One-way traffic control takes place at Jesus Maria Road for tree work on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place at Montgomery Drive for tree work on Monday, May 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Main Street to Centennial Mine Road for utility work beginning Monday, May 11, 2026, through Friday, May 15, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
