One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 4 (SR-4) and 26 in Calaveras County next week.
State Route 4
- One-way traffic control takes place at Ponderosa Way for tree work on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
State Route 26
- One-way traffic control takes place from Buckeye Lane to Montgomery Drive for utility work on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place at Montgomery Drive for tree work on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place at Ridge Road for utility work beginning Tuesday, April 28, 2026, through Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place at Upper Dorray Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, April 28, 2026, through Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place at Sawyer Road for utility work on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Bucksaw Lane to Centennial Mine Road for utility work beginning Monday, April 27, 2026, through Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
