One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 12 (SR-12) and 26 in Calaveras County next week.
State Route 12
- One-way traffic control takes place from Southworth Road to Pine Street for drainage work beginning Monday, March 9, 2026, through Friday, March 13, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
State Route 26
- One-way traffic control takes place from Garner Place/Olive Orchard Road to Heinemann Lane for drainage work beginning Monday, March 9, 2026, through Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Gee Lane to Heinemann Lane for utility work on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Lower Dorray Road to Centennial Mine Road for tree work beginning Monday, March 9, 2026, through Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
