One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 4, 12 and 26 in Calaveras County next week.
State Route 4
- One-way traffic control takes place from Appaloosa Road to Stallion Way for highway construction beginning Monday, January 12, 2026, through Thursday January 15, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
State Route 12
- One-way traffic control takes place from Sierra Rose Ranch to Whelisma Railroad Crossing for tree work on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
State Route 26
- Long-term, one-way traffic control takes place from Gill Haven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Friday, January 16, 2026.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Lower Dorray Road to Ealey Road for tree work on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
