One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place perform on construction and maintenance activities on State Route 4 (SR-4) in Calaveras County next week.
State Route 4
- One-way traffic control takes place from Appaloosa Road to Stallion Way for highway construction beginning Tuesday, January 6, 2026, through Friday January 9, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Depot Road to Rolleri Bypass Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, January 6, 2026, through Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Six Mile Creek to Red Hill Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, January 6, 2026, through Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Tanner Lane to Upper Utica Powerhouse Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, January 6, 2026, through Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Canyon View Drive to Hunter Reservoir for tree work beginning Tuesday, January 6, 2026, through Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
