One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct one-way traffic control next week on State Route 88 (SR-88) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 88
- Overnight, one-way traffic control takes place from SR-124 to SR-49 for highway construction work beginning Monday, December 8, 2025, through Friday, December 12, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Gold Mine Road to Raven Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, December 9, 2025, through Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Gayla Drive to Tiger Creek Road for tree work beginning Thursday, December 11, 2025, through Friday, December 12, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Sugar Pine Drive to Salt Springs Road/Lodge Road for highway construction work on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
