One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct one-way traffic control next week on State Route 88 (SR-88) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 88
- Overnight, one-way traffic control takes place from SR-124 to SR-49 for highway construction work beginning Monday, December 1, 2025, through Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Bartons to Mace Drive for highway construction work on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Inspiration Drive/Vista Lane to Woodlake Road for highway construction work on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from the 7,000 feet elevation marker to Corral Flat Road for Drainage work beginning Monday, December 1, 2025, through Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., and on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
