Amador County
Highway Lane Closures
State Routes 49, 88 & 104
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-88 and SR-124 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:
State Route 49
- Long-term, one-way traffic control at the Mokelumne River Bridge (Amador/Calaveras County line) for bridge work through Friday, January 31, 2025.
State Route 88
- One-way traffic control from Silver Drive/Golf Links Drive to Bartons for utility work on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Raven Road to Carson Drive for drainage work beginning Monday, November 18, 2024, through Friday, November 22, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
State Route 104
- One-way traffic control from Forestry Road to Foothill Boulevard for striping work beginning Sunday, November 17, 2024, through Tuesday, November 19, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
