One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have one-way traffic controls for construction and maintenance work on State Route 26 (SR-26), SR-49, and SR-88 in Amador County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 26
- One-way traffic control at SR-88 for tree work on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control between the Mokelumne River and Swett Road for survey work beginning Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
State Route 88
- One-way traffic control between Court Street and Raven Road for drainage work beginning Monday, October 12, through Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control at Dew Drop Road for electrical work beginning Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control at the 7,000’ elevation marker for electrical work beginning Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
