One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have one-way traffic controls for construction and maintenance work on State Route 26 (SR-26), SR-49, and SR-88 in Amador County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 26
- One-way traffic control at Rocky Lane for tree work on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control at Joyce Road for tree work on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control between the Mokelumne River and Swett Road for survey work beginning Monday, September 28, through Friday, October 2, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 88
- Long-term, one-way traffic control between Carson Drive and approximately 300 feet east of Carson Drive for slope repair through Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
- One-way traffic control between Raven Road and Buckhorn Ridge Road for tree work beginning Monday, September 28, through Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control at the 4,000-foot elevation marker for utility work on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control at the Sierra Pines entrance for utility work on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
