One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane closures on State Route 26 (SR-26) and SR-88 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:
State Route 26
- One-way traffic control from Rocky Lane to SR-88 for utility work on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 88
- One-way traffic control from SR-124 to SR-49 for highway construction work beginning Sunday, September 7, 2025, through Friday, September 12, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
