One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have one-way traffic controls for construction and maintenance work on State Route 26 (SR-26), SR-49, SR-88, and SR-104 in Amador County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 26

  • One-way traffic control between West Point Powerhouse Road and SR-88 for tree work beginning Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Defender Grade Road for utility work on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 49

  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between SR-104 and Sutter Creek Bridge for a striping operation beginning Tuesday, September 8, through Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 88

  • Long-term, one-way traffic control between Carson Drive and approximately 300 feet east of Carson Drive for slope repair through Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
  • One-way traffic control between East Ione Underpass and Blue Sky Drive for tree work beginning Thursday, September 10, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Toyon Road and the 4,000-foot elevation mark for tree work on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between SR-26 and Pioneer Station for tree work beginning Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Dew Drop Road West and Dew Drop Road East for electrical work beginning Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control at Peddler Hill Maintenance Station for electrical work beginning Wednesday, September 9, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 104

  • One-way traffic control between Dry Creek Bridge and 5 Mile Drive for tree work beginning Thursday, September 10, through Friday, September 11, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, one-way traffic control between Sutter Lane and Craig Street in Ione for utility work beginning Thursday, September 10, through Friday, September 11, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control at the Amador Central Railroad Crossing for tree work on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
