One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-88 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Bush Street to Main Street/Plymouth Shenandoah Road for highway construction work beginning Sunday, August 10, 2025, through Monday, August11, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m., and Monday, August 11, 2025, through Friday, August 15, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.
State Route 88
- One-way traffic control from SR-124 to SR-49 for highway construction work beginning Sunday, August 10, 2025, through Friday, August 15, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control from Shake Ridge Road to Cooks Station for drainage work beginning Monday, August 11, 2025, through Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
