One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 16 (SR-16), SR-49, and SR-88 in Amador County next week.
State Route 16
- Alternating lane closures from Route 124 to Route 49 for electrical work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 49
- Alternating lane closures at Laverone Street for electrical work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 88
- One-way traffic control from East Ione to Blue Sky Drive for tree work beginning Tuesday, June 9, through Wednesday, June 10, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Shake Ridge Road to Dew Drop Road for electrical work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control at Peddler Hill Road for electrical work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
