One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 49 (SR-49) and 88 in Amador County next week.
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control takes place at Vaira Ranch Road for utility work on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
State Route 88
- One-way traffic control takes place at Inspiration Drive for tree work beginning Monday, April 20, 2026, through Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
