One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 26 (SR-26), 49, 88, and 124 in Amador County next week.
State Route 26
- One-way traffic control takes place at West Point Powerhouse Road for utility work beginning Monday, March 16, 2026, through Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control takes place from Clinton Road to French Bar Road for utility work beginning Monday, March 16, 2026, through Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place at Vaira Ranch Road for tree work on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
State Route 88
- One-way traffic control takes place at Jackson Valley Road for utility work beginning Monday, March 16, 2026, through Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place at Courts Street for tree work on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control takes place from Raven Road to Shake Ridge Road for tree work beginning Monday, March 16, 2026, through Friday, March 20, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
State Route 124
- One-way traffic control takes place from Buena Vista Road to Charles Howard Park for tree work on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
