One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
ALPINE COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-4 (SR-4), SR-88, and SR-89 for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 4
- One-way traffic control from Wolf Creek Road to the SR-4/SR-89 Junction for drainage work on Saturday, June 29, through Monday, June 30, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 88
- One-way traffic control from Diamond Valley Road to the Nevada State Line for drainage work beginning Monday, July 1, through Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 89
- One-way traffic control from the East Carson River to the SR-4/SR-89 junction for drainage work beginning Monday, July 1, through Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
