Alpine County
One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane closures on State Route 89 (SR-89) for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows:
State Route 89
- One-way traffic control from SR-88 West/Pickets to the Alpine/El Dorado County line for utility work beginning Monday, June 23, through Thursday, June 26, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5 to 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible. This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
