Alpine County
One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following striping operations next week on State Route-89 (SR-89) for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 89
- One-way traffic control from SR-88 West/Pickets to the Alpine/El Dorado County line for utility work beginning Monday, June 16, through Thursday, June 19, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
