Various Closures On State Route 88
Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform the following highway closures on State Route 88 (SR-88) for construction and maintenance work next week within Alpine County. Work will occur as follows:
State Route 88
- Alternating lane closures from Schneidr Road to the Passing Lane for electrical work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
- Alternating lane closures from Fredericksburg Road to the CA/NV State line for electrical work beginning Monday, June 8, through Friday, June 12, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
