One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following striping operations next week on State Route-89 (SR-89) for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 89
- One-way traffic control from Laramie Street to Montgomery Street for pavement work beginning Tuesday, May 6, through Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
