Extended Delays in Construction Zone on State Route 26
Calaveras County – Drilling operations lead to extended delays on State Route 26 (SR-26) in Calaveras County near the Rich Gulch community.
Starting Wednesday, Caltrans will begin extended traffic holds from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. These extended traffic holds will impact SR-26 just east of Gillhaven Drive and just west of Ponderosa Way.
Traffic will be held for approximately 20 minutes. Motorist are encouraged to seek alternate routes where possible.
Schedules are subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and construction related issues.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
