Tuolumne County
Highway Closure on State Routes 49 & 120
Tuolumne County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct lane closures on State Route 49 (SR-49) and State Route 120 (SR-120) next week. Work is scheduled as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control between Von Kleiben Road and Freguero Road, between Sonora and Tuttletown, for utility work beginning Monday, May 19, through Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control between Harvard Mine Road and Rolling Hills Boulevard in Jamestown for landscaping work beginning Monday, May 19, through Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
State Route 120
- One-way traffic control between Grizzley Road and Old Priest Grade Road for drainage work beginning Monday, May 19, through Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control between Big Oak Road and .4 miles east for utility work on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control between Saw Mill Mountain Road and Hardin Flat for utility work on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
