Vacaville – Caltrans has scheduled four-consecutive days of lane reductions on eastbound and westbound Interstate-80 (I-80) in Vacaville to perform oleander median maintenance work.
Eastbound I-80 Lane Daytime Reductions-Start Tuesday July 9.
On Tuesday July 9 and Wednesday July 10, the far left lane will be closed on eastbound I-80 between the Cherry Glenn Road/Lagoon Valley exit and Alamo Creek in Vacaville. The far left lane will be closed each day from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. At least one traffic lane on eastbound I-80 will remain open at all times.
The lane closure will allow Caltrans to safely trim and maintain the oleanders located in the median of I-80.
Westbound I-80 Lane Daytime Reductions-Start Thursday July 11.
On Thursday July 11 and Friday July 12, the far left lane will be closed on westbound I-80 between Alamo Creek to the Cherry Glenn/Lagoon Valley Road exit in Vacaville. The far left lane will be closed each day from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. At least one traffic lane on westbound I-80 will remain open at all times. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow for extra travel time.
