Caltrans Storm Related Highway Closures Monday, February 5, 2024

OAKLAND - The latest winter storm system to move through the Bay Area region has resulted in various highway closures in the following locations due to road hazards on the highway.

NORTH BAY REGION:

Sonoma County:

Sonoma State Route 116 (SR-116) closed in both directions in Forestville between Green Valley Road and Neely Road.

State Route 1 (SR-1) at Bay Hill Road is closed in Bodega Bay due to power lines and a fallen tree.

State Route 128 (SR-128) in Alexander Valley is closed due to a large mudslide. Power and telecommunications lines are also blocking the roadway.

State Route 121 (SR-121) in Schellville between 8th street and State Route 116 (SR-116) is closed due to flooding includes State Route 12 (SR-12) between Watmaugh Road and State Route 121 (SR-121).

State Route 116 (SR-116) – Between Levie Lane and Green Valley Road, all lanes are closed due to downed trees onto power lines.

Napa County:

State Route 121 (SR 121) - between SR-12 and Arnold Dr, all lanes are blocked due to flooding

State Route 128 (SR-128) – at Foss Hill Road to Chalk Valley, both directions closed due to down trees, power lines, and landslides.

SOUTH BAY REGION:

San Francisco County:

Northbound State Route 35 (SR-35) at John Muir Drive (Lane Reduction) due to a slipout.

Santa Clara County:

State Route 9 (SR-9) from Sanborn Rd. to Redwood Gulch Rd closed due to mudslide debris.

State Route 9 (SR-9) in Saratoga – from Sanborn Rd to Redwood Gulch, roadway closed due to mudslides and downed trees.

San Mateo County:

State Route 35 (SR-35) at Bear Gulch Road Closed due to powerlines/downed trees.
