SAN FRANCISCO – Caltrans has scheduled an overnight closure of the Fremont Street Offramp from westbound I-80 in San Francisco for drainage work. The closure is scheduled starting Thursday, December 21 at 9:00 PM until Friday, December 22 at 5:00 AM.
At the same time and as part of related work, various lanes on the upper deck of the Bay Bridge on westbound I-80 from the San Francisco anchorage to the Fremont Street exit will also be closed overnight. At least one traffic lane on westbound I-80 near Fremont Street will remain open at all times.
Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes. All work is weather dependent.
