MILPITAS AND FREMONT / ALAMEDA COUNTY – Caltrans has scheduled overnight lane closures on Interstate 880 in Milpitas and Fremont November 29 through December 15 to fix potholes.
The work schedule is tentative and weather-dependent.
The overnight work will fix potholes on both southbound and northbound I-880 between Dixon Landing in Milpitas and Alvarado Boulevard in Fremont. Closures will begin around 8:30 p.m., reopening at 5 a.m. the next day, depending on factors such as weather. Different lanes will be closed at different times to accommodate the work.
Signage and California Highway Patrol officers will be on hand to guide the public.
Caltrans thanks residents and businesses for their patience as we work to repair pavement and refresh striping on Interstate 880 temporarily until full pavement rehabilitation work scheduled after this winter season.
