Overnight Closure of State Route 9 at Saratoga Creek Bridge and Sanborn Road

Santa Clara County  the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will continue to perform full nightly closures of State Route  9 (SR-9) Big Basin Road, at Sanborn Road*, to place new steel girders for the Saratoga Creek Bridge Rehabilitation project, in the city of Saratoga, Santa Clara County. The overnight closures are needed so that crews can safely continue installing the placements of steel girders on the bridge. Project is scheduled to be complete December 2023.

*Sanborn road will be blocked off completely for crane to sit and set girders. Emergency vehicles and local residents will have access.
