Schedule: Monday, Oct. 23 through the morning of Saturday, Oct. 27
MARIN COUNTY – Caltrans is scheduled to continue a bridge preservation project in the fourth week of October in San Rafael and Mill Valley. There will be on- and off-ramp closures that affect US-101, Interstate 580 and State Route 131 from Monday, Oct. 23 to Friday, Oct. 26 as crews are replacing old concrete with polyester concrete in various locations throughout the county.
There will be various lane closures along Northbound US-101 near the Cal Park overhead in San Rafael from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. There will be various lane closures on Southbound US-101 in the same location from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next mornings.
The Northbound US-101 connector off-ramp to Bellam Boulevard/ Eastbound I-580 will be closed from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
The Southbound US-101 on-ramp for Francisco Boulevard West will be closed from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the next mornings.

Take Northbound US-101 on-ramp from Bellam Boulevard
Get on Northbound US-101
Take the off-ramp to Second Street

Take US-101 and exit on 451B and get back on Southbound US-101
Detour for NB US-101 off-ramp to Richmond Bridge/Francisco Blvd
Continue to Northbound US-101 off-ramp to Second Street
Take Second Street on-ramp to Southbound US-101 and take the off-ramp for the Richmond Bridge/Francisco Boulevard
Various lanes will be closed from Eastbound State Route 131 (Tiburon Boulevard) to Westbound SR-131 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next mornings. The Northbound US-101 off-ramp bus stop at Eastbound SR-131 will be closed during that same time.
There will be a lane closed on the Southbound US-101 connector off-ramp to Eastbound SR-131 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. At least one lane will be open for traffic.
The connector loop on-ramp to Northbound US-101 from Eastbound SR-131 will be closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Take the off-ramp to Eastbound Redwood Highway Frontage Road
Take the on-ramp to Northbound US-101
Bus service may be affected during for the various routes.
The project is scheduled to be completed in the winter of 2023. All work depends on weather.
Changeable message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be on-site during the closures.
