Update: Extension of Lane Closure on Southbound Interstate 680 Near Fairfield for Slide Repair

One of two Lanes will be closed from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on:
Monday, April 10 - Saturday, April 15
&
Monday, April 17 – Thursday, April 20

SOLANO COUNTY- Caltrans will close one lane of southbound Interstate 680 (I-680) near the Gold Hill Road exit near Fairfield from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Monday, April 10, to Saturday, April 15. Caltrans will implement another lane closure on southbound I-680 on Monday, April 17 to Thursday April 20, 2023, also from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Crews will continue to perform slide repair work along the right slope of I-680 which suffered storm damage during the past weeks.

More lanes closures may be necessary in the near future as the repair project progresses. Caltrans will keep the public apprised of upcoming lane closures as information becomes available.

Work is weather permitting. Be Work Zone Alert and expect travel delays.
