One-Way Traffic Control on State Route 1 (SR-1) in Point Reyes for PG&E Tree Removal as part of Caltrans’ Maintenance Project

MARIN COUNTY — There will be one-way traffic control on State Route 1 (SR-1) in April as part of Caltrans’ Capital Preventive Maintenance project in Point Reyes Station. In support of the project, PG&E is helping with tree cutting in front of West Marin Elementary School.

The one-way traffic control on SR-1 is scheduled for Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 14 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. The school is on spring break and not in session.

Construction on the project is scheduled for the spring of 2024.

All work is dependent on weather. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time and plan their routes ahead of time.

Changeable message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be on-site during the closures.
