ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES – Caltrans has scheduled overnight closure of the eastbound number one bore of the State Route 24 (SR-24) Caldecott Tunnel on Monday, April 10.
During the work, all other bores in each direction will always remain open.
Eastbound Bore #1 Closed Monday, April 10:
The #1 eastbound bore on SR-24 through the tunnel will be temporarily closed for tunnel maintenance work. The closure will occur Monday, April 10, through Tuesday April 11 starting at 10:00 PM until 4:30 AM the following morning.
Traffic Control Measures:
Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
