Pothole and Pavement Repair
Expect Delays Overnight

SOLANO COUNTY- Caltrans has scheduled five consecutive nights of one-way traffic controls on State Route 12 (SR-12) between Drouin Drive and the Rio Vista Bridge in the City of Rio Vista.

The work is scheduled to start Monday, April 3 and require overnight one-way traffic controls on SR-12 each night until Friday, April 7. Work starts each night Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 PM each night until 4:00 AM the following mornings. The project is scheduled to be completed by Saturday, April 8 at 4:00 AM.

To ensure the safety of motorists and workers, one-way traffic controls will be in effect during the work. During one-way traffic controls, crews will temporarily close one traffic direction of either eastbound or westbound SR-12 for about 15-20 minutes at a time during overnight hours. One traffic direction of SR-12 will remain open at all times.

CHP and flaggers will assist crews in safely alternating traffic lane closures. Motorists should expect delays and slow for workers overnight.

Crews will perform urgent pothole and pavement repair work following recent heavy rains. All work is weather dependent.  Please drive with caution. Slow for the Cone Zone and Be Work Zone Alert.

Caltrans will update its Twitter page at https://twitter.com/CaltransD4 on the latest highway conditions, and drivers are encouraged to check out Caltrans Quickmap http://quickmap.dot.ca.gov/ Or call 1-800-427-ROAD or 1-800-427-7623 for 24/7 Highway Conditions Statewide.
