State Route 29/ 221 Soscol Junction Interchange Project: Soscol Ferry Road to SR-29 near Napa set to close on Dec. 13 as construction continues

Map showing closure of Soscol Ferry Road to SR-29 near Napa beginning December 13, 2022.NAPA COUNTY-  Beginning Tuesday Dec. 13, 2022, motorists traveling on Soscol Ferry Road will not be able to access State Route 221(SR-221) and State Route 29 (SR-29) in Napa County.

Motorists will still be able to turn right at the intersection from SB SR-29 to Soscol Ferry Rd.

To access NB SR-221, motorists will need to use Devlin Rd. to Airport Blvd. to SR-29 to NB SR-221.

The closure will allow construction crews to start building a temporary connector ramp,  which will be used for NB SR-221 traffic for the next construction phase in January 2023.

Crews will also start working on closing off Soscol Ferry Rd. connector to SR-29 starting on Tuesday Dec. 13, 2022, starting at  5:00 AM.

These are long-term closures which will be in effect until the project nears completion in summer 2024.

Caltrans will provide additional information regarding traffic closures as soon as they become available.
