Nightly Ramp, Lane Closures on US-101, State Route 131 (Tiburon Boulevard) as Bridge Preservation Project Continues in Marin County

Schedule: Monday, Nov. 27 through the morning of Saturday, Dec. 2

MARIN COUNTY – Caltrans is scheduled to continue its bridge preservation project in November and December. Work will be in different locations from Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 as crews will be replacing old concrete with polyester concrete in various locations throughout the county.

Various lanes will be closed from Eastbound State Route 131 (Tiburon Boulevard) to Westbound SR-131 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next mornings. The Northbound US-101 off-ramp bus stop at Eastbound SR-131 will be closed during that same time.

There will be a lane closed on the Southbound US-101 connector off-ramp to Eastbound SR-131 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. At least one lane will be open for traffic.

The connector loop on-ramp to Northbound US-101 from Eastbound SR-131 will be closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m.

There will be various lanes closed on Northbound US-101 near the Robin Williams Tunnel (Waldo Tunnel) and Sidehill Viaduct in Sausalito from Monday, Nov. 27 through Friday, Dec. 1 from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next mornings.

All work is dependent on weather.

Changeable message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be on-site during the closures.
