State Route-220 “J-Mack Ferry” out of service due to mechanical failure; Motorists are advised to use Delta Companion Ferry State Route 84 “Real McCoy II Ferry” 

(SOLANO COUNTY)—The State Route 220 (SR-220) “J-Mack Ferry” is currently out of service due to a mechanical failure of the vessel, which occurred on April 5, 2021. The ferry is currently undergoing maintenance repairs. 

Caltrans regrets any inconvenience for motorists and residents who use the ferry to access Ryer Island and the Sacramento Delta. 

The Delta’s companion ferry, SR-84 Real McCoy Ferry can also be used for crossings, which are scheduled every 20 minutes; on the hour, 20 minutes after the hour, and 40 minutes after the hour.

Caltrans thanks motorists, businesses and residents for their patience as we worked to get the J-Mack Ferry back into service.
