Long-Term Delta Ferry Closure Starts Thurs, February 11

Due to Required 5-Year Inspection

Use J-Mack Ferry As Detour

(SOLANO COUNTY) The State Route 84 (SR-84) Real McCoy Ferry II is scheduled to be out of service starting Thursday, February, 11, 2021 at 12:01 AM until February 25, 2021 for its 5-year required U.S. Coast Guard inspection.

The Real McCoy II cannot operate until the inspection is complete.

The Delta’s companion ferry, the SR-220 J-Mack Ferry can be used for crossings, while the Real McCoy II Ferry is out of service. The J-Mack Ferry is on demand 24 hours per day. The State Route 84 Miners Slough Bridge can also be used to access Ryer island.

Caltrans regrets any inconvenience for motorists and residents who use the ferry to access Ryer Island.
