Eastbound #1 And #2 Bore Maintenance Work Beginning Tuesday, October 13, 2020 At 9:00 PM

Alameda And Contra Costa Counties – Caltrans will temporarily close the number one and two bore of the State Route 24 (SR-24) Caldecott Tunnel overnight starting Tuesday, October 13. All other bores will remain open to traffic. Additionally, at least one bore in each direction on eastbound SR-24 and westbound SR-24 will remain open at all times.

Eastbound Bore #1 Closed Night on Tuesday, October 13:

Beginning Tuesday, October 13 at 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Wednesday, October 14, the #1 eastbound bore will be temporarily closed for tunnel maintenance work.

Eastbound Bore #2 Closed Night on Wednesday, October 14:
Beginning Wednesday, October 14 at 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Thursday, October 15, the #2 eastbound bore will be temporarily closed for tunnel maintenance work.

Traffic Control Measures:
Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
