Marin County - Caltrans Department of Transportation will start culvert pipe replacement work in order to repair the road crossing on State Route 1(SR1) right outside the town of Marshall starting on August 3, 2020. Operational hours will be 6AM – 6PM Monday through Friday.
The two lanes on SR1 will be reduced down to one and controlled by flaggers providing motorists safe passage through the work zone at 5-minute intervals in both, north and southbound directions.
The approximate duration for the culvert replacement work is expected to last 2 weeks.
Traffic control measures will include Signage and flaggers.
Motorists should reduce speed and anticipate incremental stops at this juncture.
