At Least One Bore in Each Direction Open at All Times Maintenance Work Beginning Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 9:00 PM
ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES – Caltrans s scheduled to temporarily close the number three bore of the State Route 24 (SR-24) Caldecott Tunnel overnight starting Wednesday, June 24.
At least one tunnel bore in each direction will remain open to traffic.
Westbound Bore #3 Closed Night of June 24
Beginning Wednesday, June 24 at 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, the #3 westbound bore will be temporarily closed for tunnel maintenance work.

Beginning Thursday, June 25 at 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Friday, June 26, the #3 westbound bore will be temporarily closed for tunnel maintenance work.
Traffic Control Measures:
Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
