Between Alemany Boulevard and Holloway Avenue in San Francisco Intermittent Daytime Lane Closures  Starts Late March 2020 - Expect Delays

(San Francisco) - Caltrans is scheduled to perform paving work on State Route 1 (SR-1) between Alemany Boulevard and Holloway Avenue in San Francisco from late March 2020 to late April 2020 seven-days-a-week from 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M.* (see below) Crews will intermittently close two lanes on SR-1 for grinding and paving work between Alemany Boulevard and Holloway Avenue.  They will be starting first in the Southbound (SB) direction, then switch to the Northbound (NB) side.  One traffic lane in each direction of SR-1 will remain open at all times.

However, motorists should expect delays and drive with caution through the construction zone. The work will repair multiple potholes and cracks due to constant wear and tear. Once completed, residents and motorists will benefit from a safer, smoother drive. Caltrans regrets any inconvenience associated with this project and thanks residents and motorists for their patience as we work to maintain our state’s roadways. *Caltrans will assess and make adjustments to these work hours as needed after the current shelter-in-place ordinance has been completed.
