Butte County — Caltrans is alerting motorists to expect various daytime lane restrictions and ramp and local street closures next week on State Highway 99 in Chico for pavement repair work.
The Eaton Road on-ramp to southbound Highway 99 will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11to allow crews to repave the freeway entrance.
Operations will move north on Thursday, October 12 as crews close the shoulders and various lanes around the intersection of Highway 99 and Garner Lane from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition, Garner Lane west will be closed to traffic.
Motorists should allow for additional travel time through the construction areas and use alternate routes around the closures.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather, equipment or material availability or other unexpected events. Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
