Upcoming Night Time Full Freeway Closures for SR-22 Safety Improvement Project

Published:

Full night time closures of eastbound and westbound SR-22 will be required the week of September 22 through September 28 as the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on the SR-22 Safety Improvement Project.

On September 22, 23 and 24, all lanes of eastbound SR-22 will be closed between Fairview Ave and Main St from 10:00 PM to 4:30 AM. These lanes include the collector-distributor road which connects eastbound SR-22 to northbound and southbound I-5 as well as northbound SR-57. The encouraged detour is to exit at The City Dr in order to access I-5, SR-57 or eastbound SR-22.

On September 25 and 26, all lanes of westbound SR-22 will be closed between Main St and the La Veta Ave on-ramp from 10:30 PM to 4:30 AM. The encouraged detours are to exit Grand Ave and continue to 17th St to access northbound I-5 or to exit Le Veta Ave and continue west to the on-ramp to access westbound SR-22 or turn onto southbound Main St to access northbound I-5.
