Caltrans and SANDAG will open four additional miles of I-5 carpool lanes in North County that are projected to provide a 50 percent reduction in commute times for high-occupancy vehicles (HOV) during peak travel hours

On Thursday evening, Caltrans maintenance crews will close connectors at Interstate 15 (I-15) and State Route 78 (SR-78) for bridge maintenance.

Construction crews will close all eastbound lanes of Interstate 8 (I-8) eastbound lanes on the Colorado River Bridge near Yuma, AZ, on Thursday, June 1, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
