I-8 and SR-67 Connectors Closed for Nightwork on Wednesday, 8/23

Caltrans construction crews will intermittently close the eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) connector to northbound State Route 67 (SR-67)/Magnolia Avenue; southbound State Route (SR-67)/Magnolia Avenue connector to eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8); northbound SR-67/Magnolia Avenue connector to westbound I-8; and the southbound SR 67/Magnolia Avenue connector to eastbound I-8 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

The night work for paving and striping will begin on Wednesday and continue through Thursday, August 31.

Traffic will be detoured as follows:

Eastbound I-8 connector to northbound SR-67/Magnolia Avenue

Exit at Mollison Avenue; proceed north on Mollison to the westbound I-8 entrance ramp, and then continue traveling on I-8 westbound to the SR-67/Magnolia connector.

Southbound SR-67/Magnolia connector to eastbound I-8

Exit at I-8 west to Main Street; proceed east on Main Street to the eastbound I-8 entrance ramp.

Northbound SR-67 connector to westbound I-8

Exit SR-67 to Broadway/Graves Avenue; proceed south on Graves Avenue to Broadway, then west on Broadway to the westbound I-8 entrance ramp from Broadway/Fletcher Parkway.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other construction-related reasons.
